Kyle Harris's Experience as a Therapist
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL, before moving to Saint Louis, MO to attend McKendree University. There, I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees while competing as a collegiate athlete for six years. In the summer of 2025, I returned to Chicago with a wealth of experience and a mission to give back to the communities that shaped my life.
I have served in a variety of roles within the mental health field, including private practice, juvenile detention, and school districts. Across each setting, I’ve remained committed to a person-centered approach, prioritizing strong, healthy relationships as the foundation for growth and progress.
My work is deeply informed by an understanding of trauma—whether generational, environmental, or cultural. In every session, I strive to create a relaxed, non-judgmental space, blending genuine conversation with creative therapeutic techniques that meet clients where they are. I often remind those I work with: “I am here if, or when you need me.
