Talk with CoryCory Dolley's Experience as a Therapist
Perhaps you are someone in your late 20’s to 60’s, and are not used to asking for help because you were taught early never to show vulnerability. Perhaps you are dealing with unacknowledged trauma from years ago that was never seriously addressed. All you know is that you are in pain, and that pain is affecting all your other relationships, making it harder to reach out to others, hard to trust anyone. Perhaps you were coping with that pain by drinking, or using other drugs. You just want to get better, and to live a healthier, happier life. You want to have a better relationship with the people you love.
I can work with a variety of people to identify and address the issues that they are having so that they can begin to have better lives. I use a compassion based and understanding approach and work with people’s strengths so that they can begin to address the problems they are having and work to have the better lives they want to have.
Specialties: ADD & ADHD, Anxiety, Addiction, Depression, Substance Abuse, Trauma and PTSD, Personal Growth

Kenneth Miyake
My approach has always been what Carl Rogers called the power of the "therapeutic relationship", which includes: unconditional positive regard, compassion, genuineness, empathy, and congruency. We help to empower the client by encouraging them to find their own solutions, which always lie within them.

I believe cultivating ways one can empower oneself can be a catalyst for positive changes. By finding practical ways to remind ourselves of choices we have in our everyday lives can assist in improving ourselves overall. I believe in meeting individuals where they are in their healing journey and provide flexibility due to life's busy schedule.
