Talk with NicoleNicole Glynn's Experience as a Therapist
Hi, I’m Nicole Glynn, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming care in private practice. I support children and their caregivers in navigating emotional overwhelm, stress, life transitions, and the impacts of stressors—without trying to “fix” or pathologize neurodivergence.
My approach is collaborative, gentle, and rooted in nervous system awareness. Rather than focusing on compliance or surface-level behaviors, I work with clients to understand their unique sensory, emotional, and relational needs while building regulation, resilience, and self-trust. I aim to create a calm, affirming space where differences are honored and healing happens at a comforting and safe pace.
I bring a whole-person lens/nervous system lens to my work. That means I don’t just focus on behavior—I look beneath the surface at nervous system responses, developmental needs, lived experiences, and strengths.
My background includes work in school-based mental health, early intervention, special education, and community support, and I integrate evidence-based practices with mindfulness and somatic awareness to support regulation, resilience, and connection.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a certified yoga instructor and I’m honored to serve as an adjunct professor at a local university. There I worked to co-create a Master’s program in Trauma Informed System Change. I teach trauma-sensitive practices to social workers, psychologists, educators and a variety of system-change makers. Teaching allows me to blend practice, research, and real-world application while supporting the next generation of helpers. I am glad you are here.

We help to empower the client by encouraging them to find their own solutions, which always lie within them.
