Hello, and welcome! My name is Elizabeth Turek, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. My approach is rooted in compassion, presence, and the belief that healing begins with mindfulness and self-awareness. I have experience working with individuals, couples, children, and adolescents from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. I am fluent in Polish and conversational in Russian and German, allowing me to connect authentically with clients from a variety of linguistic and cultural communities.
My therapeutic style is integrative and holistic, drawing from Client-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Reality Therapy, Regression Work, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I incorporate mindfulness practices to help clients become more grounded in the present moment, and I emphasize self-awareness as a key to personal growth and emotional healing. When appropriate, I also integrate spiritual and holistic perspectives
I am passionate about working with children, teens, individuals, and couples, helping them navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier ways of communicating and connecting.
