Hello, and welcome! My name is Elizabeth Turek, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. My approach is rooted in compassion, presence, and the belief that healing begins with mindfulness and self-awareness. I strive to help clients reconnect with themselves, understand their emotions, and move toward balance and fulfillment.
I have experience working with individuals, couples, children, and adolescents from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. I am fluent in Polish and conversational in Russian and German, allowing me to connect authentically with clients from a variety of linguistic and cultural communities.
My therapeutic style is integrative and holistic, drawing from Client-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Reality Therapy, Regression Work, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I incorporate mindfulness practices to help clients become more grounded in the present moment, and I emphasize self-awareness as a key to personal growth and emotional healing. When appropriate, I also integrate spiritual and holistic perspectives
I am passionate about working with children, teens, individuals, and couples, helping them navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier ways of communicating and connecting. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space to explore and heal.
